Thank you to everyone who joined me tonight for our Get-Out-The-Vote rally and meet-and-greet. More than 100 supporters filled a warehouse to hear from business leaders, elected officials, and Republican leaders about what is at stake on Tuesday. This race is about experience, record, and readiness to fight for Northern Nevada on day one. I also want to thank the @Nevada_Trucking Association for hosting us and for standing with me in the 2019 two-thirds tax increase fight. When the Legislature and Governor Sisolak tried to push through an unconstitutional tax hike, I led the lawsuit to defend Nevada taxpayers and the Constitution. NTA, along with other business organizations, helped fund and join that fight, and together we took it all the way to the Nevada Supreme Court and won. That is why I was honored to sign the @taxreformer Federal Taxpayer Protection Pledge tonight. To me, it is more than a signature. I am the only candidate in this race with a real record of protecting Nevada taxpayers, small businesses, and our constitutional guardrails. We are in the final stretch. Let’s finish strong. Early voting ends June 5, and Election Day is Tuesday, June 9.

While the results are not what we hoped for, I am deeply grateful to the volunteers, supporters, friends, family, and Nevada leaders who stood by my side every step of the way. Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District is a truly special place. From Lake Tahoe to West Wendover, our Great Basin communities are filled with hardworking people who care deeply about their families, their neighbors, and the future of our state. This corner of Nevada raised me, shaped me, and gave me the opportunity to give back to the place I love. Serving the people of Nevada has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over the past few days, I have heard from volunteers, friends, family, colleagues, community leaders, and even other candidates in this race who have reached out to say they are still with us. I am grateful to every one of you. We are halfway through early voting, and we are not slowing down. The energy we are seeing across Northern Nevada is real because people here understand what is at stake. Northern Nevada is a unique place, with unique challenges and a long history of electing representatives who roll up their sleeves, do the work, and put this district ahead of political games and grandstanding. Spending the weekend on the campaign trail and spending time with my daughters has sharpened my sense of exactly why I am in this fight. This race has never been about me. It is about making sure Northern Nevada is represented by someone who lives here, understands our issues, and has real skin in the game. Today in Fernley, we gathered at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery for the Memorial Day Ceremony. Thank you to the Nevada Department of Veterans Services for hosting today’s ceremony and helping our community honor those who gave everything in service to our nation. The flags placed across the cemetery are a solemn reminder of the courage, service, and sacrifice of the men and women we remember today. I hope you and your family had a meaningful Memorial Day.

You can’t represent Northern Nevada from Las Vegas.
