The Capcom Vs. games straight up wouldn't exist as we know them today without Akuma, so here's an hour long analysis of the character that built Marvel Vs. Capcom. 👇(Link in Replies!)👇
I don't always do sequel videos, but sometimes a topic is so fun to talk about that ya gotta spin the block on it again. MORE Fighting Game Moves in Non-Fighting Games is coming... soon.
I don't have anything to add to the "is KH too complicated to understand" discourse other than the opinion that delisted games notwithstanding, the only KH game that's legitimately tricky to follow plot-wise is Dream Drop Distance
KH is fun as hell, even if you're new, hop on in
I spent most of my life avoiding Megaten games because of their reputation for being difficult, kick you in the genitals games and while they have their moments, finally playing them revealed that the answer to most problems in these games is usually "fuse better, stupid."
Pretty much, and that juxtaposition is unironically one of the coolest things about the series
There literally isn't anything quite like KH in the single player gaming space. Literally one of one
In the middle of all this, I'm also really glad Dragon's Dogma II is getting an expansion, legit thought that game got taken out back and shot once Itsuno dipped
Hope the new area is as good as Bitterblack Isle was in the first game's Dark Arisen release
Persona fans won, KH fans won, Final Fantasy fans won, Resident Evil fans won, Fire Emblem fans won, Xenoblade fans won, Spyro fans won... crazy ass week in videogames, genuinely
I was about to post how the few games in the direct I care about are either expansion to games already out or remasters
and then they drop Kingdom fuckin' Hearts IV. Well played.
I'm going to need you all to understand that this man has not been playable in *ANY* fighting game for the same stretch of time (27 years!) between the Knicks' last two finals appearances.
I 100% understand why some series start moving away from numbered titles for main entries, but it really does make me smile when they still use logo iconography to still indicate internal series numbering.
It's a small thing, but I think it's cool.
I need Capcom to lock in on that RE:Veronica soundtrack because Code Veronica unquestionably had the best OST of the classic styled RE games
The few re-orchestrated remixes in Darkside Chronicles tells me they are absolutely capable of it
Pretty neat SGF all things considered aside from some (mostly RGG related) weirdness.
Stellar Blade 2's new protag being a hand to hand fighter is actually kinda sick, was not expecting to dig that so much, though I really do need to finish the first game one of these days
