Was fortunate to find a stray pup wandering the street today. Poor girl was terrified, and Ollie made trying to get her an adventure, but I couldn’t leave her for animal control to catch…other people I spoke to while trying to get a look at her collar said they made that call…

What somewhat bothers me to think of is the absolute lack of community on that street. Nobody could tell me which house was hers, even the first woman I spoke to lived directly across the street from her humans. Any dog on my street goes missing I know exactly where to go…

Funny being neurodiverse is used as an excuse for unacceptable behaviour… how long ago was it being used as an insult, or something being taken advantage of by the trans community, etc… but we’ve recently decided “that wasn’t something horrible, he’s just neurodiverse”?

My dog was attacked on Thursday evening, I was able to shield him from harm, but it turns out I got bit in the chaos. It’s winter, so my coat shielded my arm… for the most part. Can see where the teeth hit, and bruising was/is significant. I’m not sure on next steps here though
