AMCA takes another step forward. RCS (Radar Cross Section) testing of an AMCA mockup/prototype is reportedly underway at the DRDO runway test site in Dundigal AFS. Stealth radars are being used to analyze and minimize radar signatures across multiple frequencies and angles.

Radar-absorbing coatings and stealth paints are also reportedly being tested. The trials aim to further reduce AMCA's radar signature and refine its stealth profile, marking another important step in India's 5th-generation fighter programme.
