Mitchell Robinson’s performance was encouraging - didn’t look particularly limited from the hand. Wasn’t just best game but he didn’t stick out as super limited.

If the Spurs take Wemby off Towns to roam, who is going to guard Towns?
Could be Castle, but he did a great job on Brunson in game 1. If you move Castle than Brunson might get going more efficiently. Everyone else isn’t strong enough to bother KAT.

Both teams should expect to play better offensively going forward. The Spurs will have better shooting nights. They need to get Wemby going on lobs and rolling hard to the basket.
Knicks clearly emphasized taking away any layup/dunk attempts for him. He really only had one.

They need to stay attached on Champagnie more, but clearly the game plan was to dare the Spurs shaky shooters to beat them.

Just going to spew some thoughts from Game 1….
I can’t believe how much the Spurs leaned into Wemby guarding Towns. That was clearly what the Knicks wanted from the moment the series was set.
If the Spurs stick with that matchup the Knicks are going to get comfortable on O.

This draft had so many good backup PG type prospects in it and Ajay was the best of the bunch. OKC got a steal in the second round. Such a skilled and polished player.
