Bulk-billing rates in Tasmania 0.9% I guess most of us are still waiting for the policy “game changers” to kick in. 🤦‍♂️ cleanbill.com.au/2024/01/cle…

Pretty simple. Remove barriers to pharmacists vaccinating the most vulnerable. The planned national immunisation program for community pharmacy doesn’t allow for outreach to aged care, disability settings and at home. @Mark_Butler_MP @PSA_National australianpharmacist.com.au/…

Replying to @RACGPPresident
Whilst I agree on ethical / philosophical principles that access to primary care should be facilitated... ...it's a tough sell to insist private businesses with >$2million payrolls, with average full-time GP incones >$300k shouldn't be taxed like everyone else. 🤔 #medtwitter

Surely it’s time for influenza antivirals to be initiated by pharmacists, time of the essence, and reducing barriers to access. RT: Children are being hit hard this flu season. Some experts are calling for more antiviral use - ABC News abc.net.au/news/2023-07-23/f…

We do need to work this out together. Patients shouldn’t be worse off under this measure. Pharmacists should not be worse off. The health system should not be worse off.

Any significant change like this needs to consider implementation. The PBAC does not do that. That is for government to do. Consultation is vital in any decision so significant.
