I started Junk Junction in summer 2019. Today, August 8, 2023, this spooky, queer adventure book of my heart is finally out in the world!

Hi. Haven't been on here in a while but wanted to point out that World's Apart anthologies are on sale, and I have a story next month in the last one, Fiery Deeps! It involves an animal rescue person and a lady firefighter.

It's been forever since I logged on here, but hi! I have some news. My friends at Space Wizard have their year 3 campaign up, and Junk Junction is now an audio book.

I wrote words for the first time since my failed NaNoWriMo attempt. So far, it involves fire, animal rescue, and accidental nudity. I think this one is going to be an interesting story...
There are a lot of things I want right now that I can't have. To name a few....
1. Humans to stop killing other humans.
2. More muderbot diaries books
3. Governments that actually care about their humans.
4. A 4 day work week that is really only 4 days.
I keep writing tweets and deleting them before I post them. I'm so tired my brain isn't working. I'm a writer who can't write. Anyway.
I just want people to stop killing people.
I don't want my government giving money to governments that are actively committing genocide.
Tried to read the news this morning but I just can't stomach it. No one deserves what Israel is doing to Gaza. Nothing justifies that level death and destruction. It needs to stop.
Ahhh NaNoWriMo is a go! It only took me 3 fifteen minute sprints get the necessary amount of words down! I just need to write for 45 minutes a night every night and by the end of the month I'll be at 50K words!

I didn't write much this year, but one of the few things I did write, a short story set in a floating magic school with talking cats, is out today in the Lofty Mountains anthology! And Bookshop.org has free shipping! bookshop.org/p/books/lofty-m…
I've been enjoying horror lately, but am always hesitant to pick it up because I get too upset when I read about pets dying, and I feel like pets are never safe in horror. Anyone have any recs for horror where either there are no pets or the pets are safe?
