The plea deal keeps him from appealing or ever getting out on parole. Though not ideal, at least the families won't be drug through reliving the horror that their children went through. Unless he repents and turns to Jesus for Salvation there is a much worse judgment to come.
But I thought Wednesday was when this was supposed to happen.
