I mean, how incredible is this!!! And how proud are we at She Can FC 🖤💜 We have always said, it’s so much more than the football, the winning, the 3 points or the bragging rights. It’s about helping build good human beings, being part of their journey, developing their social skills and just giving them a platform to be confident and showcase themselves, that’s more important than anything 🫶🏻 Maya and Sophia had an exceptional season last year with She Can U14s Blacks in Tier 1 and they earned their move to Motherwell Football Club. We weren’t even sad to see them go, as that’s what it is all about, the platform was given, they do the rest, and they deserved it 🖤 They have now offered (without being asked) to come back in January and help train our younger age groups. Such an amazing gesture to fit around their Motherwell training and school work. What better two role models for our young girls to have 🥰 And as we were about to post this amazing news, things got even better!!! Maya and Sophia have been announced yesterday as winners of the @DigiInventors Scottish Challenge 2025!!!! The girls were part of a team of 4 who designed a groundbreaking new app to encourage more girls to play and take up football 😱 🏆 💜 The girls are an absolute credit to their parents, their school, everyone at every club they have ever played for, and ultimately themselves 🫶🏻 We wanted to not only acknowledge their achievements, but to say thank you. Thank you to them for being part of our journey at She Can FC, not the other way around. Thank you for showing every other girl how to be a fantastic human being. Thank you for not only thinking about themselves, but going over and above to give more girls the platform to play the game they love. And Thank you, for showing every other girl out there that, She Can.
