Nothing makes me madder 😡 than this type of discrimination. The graphic below is from Next Level Academy in response to their 6th grade girls basketball team being told they CANNOT compete in the winter tournament of the Southwestern Ohio Basketball Winter League. So let me get this straight Southwestern Ohio Basketball… 1. You have a league and allow and all 6th grade girls team to enter and to play in the 6th grade boys division 2. They play in above mentioned division all season going 7-1 3. They are competing against boys and are successful 4. Yet you wanna ban them from post-season play because, wait for it…. THEY ARE WINNING AND BEING SUCCESSFUL AGAINST THE BOY’S TEAMS. And the best justification you can give is you don’t want the boys to retaliate cause they are mad and you are getting an earful cause teams have to play the girls. I’m sure there would be no issue if the record were reversed. Southwestern Ohio Basketball ya’ll better fix this real quick. #riseup #knowhername
