Kickstarter took down my fundraiser.
Adversity: Stories of Courage, Faith, and the Power of One Moment — 40 powerful stories of God-given resilience that will inspire the next generation of girls to rise stronger.
For those asking why I’m not just self-funding or going with a traditional publisher:
• Traditional publishing would push the book out until late 2028, they keep full control, often water down the message, and give the lowest royalties to the organizations I want to support in this fight.
• Self-publishing and just "throwing it on Amazon" gets the book out fast, but without real marketing almost no one will see it.
• Top-tier hybrid publishing will get this out for
#NGWSD Feb 2027, gives me professional editing, control, highest royalties for our support of
@xx_xyathletics ,
@icons_women ,
@ichampionwomen and strong marketing reach — but it requires me to bring $30k to the table.
That’s why I’m raising $25,000 through
@givesendgo now that
@kickstarter labeled our project “hateful.” We would love your support — even if you could just give $10 toward the project!
