Mon Mari.
The unique gold groat of King James V of Scotland, all other examples are made from silver. This is possibly a pattern that was made for James V himself to enable him to review the design for his new silver coinage. From @NtlMuseumsScot’s collection. #ScottishHistory #Numismatics

This Fleur-de-lis-shaped Book of Hours was made in Paris in 1553 AD. It is an illuminated manuscript on paper, written in Latin. The book was originally made for King Henri II and Diane de Poitiers, and sold for 28,000 at Christie's in 2006. Only one more book of this format is recorded and this is kept in the Bibliotheque Municipale of Amiens, France. #archaeohistories
