Shear Force is back in session! We kicked off our summer with 2 outreach events in 2 days! Friday we led discussions in a Impromtu STEM Scout Outreach Event! Then Saturday we participated in Boeing Family Day!

Some great photos we got from this past week at Worlds! We all had so much fun, and are so happy that we got to be apart of this game. We had a great season, and while we didn’t end where we wanted, we are so proud of what we did. We placed 9th in division, and 34th of 192 teams!

ALT @Onshape CAD drawing of robot full assembly from side view. Team CAD'd 45 parts of the robot this year and put them together virtually before assembling in the real world. After CAD was complete, they used laser cutters, cnc routers and @Prusa 3D printers to make their parts.

Ever since our CRAZY day at Regionals, Shear Force was DETERMINED to pull cones from the stack and deliver them. Well with the addition of two sensors, a lot of data collection and a modified intake divot, we are just about there!

Yesterday was a LONG but GREAT day for Shear Force! We did a double header meet - meaning we ran 12 matches - won 11 of them!
Here is the moment to be proud of - the WHOLE team engaged to replace two servo's between matches.
