We criticise a presidents son for having too much influence in government, and at the same time fault another for not being involved enough in his fathers administration. Can we decide what we actually expect from a president’s son, Nigerians?

The bitter truth and the honest conclusion of what nigeria needs after all this pollitical hulabaluu...after we all finish panelbeating our politicians then we can all come to the reality of the issues on ground that nigeria cannot be better with short term policies & lies
Beyond the razzmatazz of what we see on the timeline. You know it is good to keep the politics and the political conversation going but we need to discuss some hard truths. As we approach 2027, I have seen a lot of people say that if this particular candidate becomes President, Nigeria’s problem will be solved, let's not deceive ourselves, let me tell you the truth, I have observed a pattern of Nigerians always complaining about leadership and would mostly prefer the ones who have left power. The past is usually their best. And for us to try to avoid this in the future, these candidates must tell us the road plan for the structural changes they intend to make when they become President. I am saying this because with the structure we operate today in Nigeria, even if you bring a saint to become President, the supposed saint will fail thereby making them look incompetent. This is all the more reason I advocate for structural changes. Look at the country today, we have serious issues with out-of-school kids all over the place. The Federal Government cannot do the work of the States and LGAs because they are closer to the people and that's their primary duty. It does not even fall under the purview of the Federal Government, they only try to support through UBEC. We must have a way of dealing with this issue because if we don't, we will continue to have this large scale insecurity. There is no magic wand any president would do if we do not solve this fundamental issue. We have serious issues where the Governors fail to take up the responsibility of Governance. How do we checkmate the Governors in a bid to have them do their work? What do we do to make the presidency more effective in solving the problem of insecurity, out-of-school children, healthcare delivery, corruption, etc? These are serious structural issues. We must find a way as a people, especially our leaders, beyond political leaning, to entrench a Nigerian vision that serves the people. We must find a way of having this conversation. Now, everybody is shouting “remove this President”, I am not against his though before people start to misconstrue me. This Government is too extravagant, lacks basic human decency, large scale corruption, etc. As a people, we must find a way to come together to sort this. Let me tell you, in 2031 we will still come back here talking about the same issues over and over again. I do not want to believe that all the Presidents we've had, have not meant well for the country. I have been thinking about this that if we must make progress as a people, we do need to restructure this Country. You cannot restructure this Country without the Governors and the legislatures. And not just these two groups alone, the people must be actively involved, whether you're in opposition or in power. We must all come together to have a conversation. I am not one to deceive myself. This was how they told us that PDP was the problem with everything; today, we have seen that the APC is much worse. We must sit down and ask ourselves these fundamental questions, what's our collective vision for this Country, in the next 10, 20, 30, and 40 years? Our population is projected to double, yet the landmass will not increase. Beyond this political razzmataz, what's our collective vision? I hope I have made sense!

Mahaukata ba🤣🤣🤣🤣
The people that were always publicizing Abba Kabir Yusuf as the best serving Governor in the North West (alongside Dauda Lawal) and one of the best in the North are now is saying he's a non performer simply because he left his political benefactor to defect to APC instead of ADC. Suddenly Dauda Lawal is now a terrible Governor that must be kicked out. You all are not ready nor serious in this country 😁.

ISWAP admits losing 23 fighters in clash with troops in Sambisa Forest By: Zagazola Makama An intercepted communication involving members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has reportedly confirmed the loss of 23 of their fighters during a recent encounter with Nigerian Special Forces troops in the Sambisa Forest, Borno State. According to intelligence sources, the ISWAP associate informed an unidentified contact that Nigerian forces had conducted sustained operations in Sambisa Forest for a week, during which they burned down the village of Allafawa and destroyed properties belonging to the insurgents. Some ISWAP members, the source added, were still present in the forest, while the troops in the theatre of operations have continued aggressive patrols and intelligence-driven assaults to exploit the gains, targeting fleeing elements and dismantling remaining strongholds within the forest. Security officials emphasised that maintaining the operational tempo is critical to further weaken the terrorist and prevent them from regrouping.

This is for people who get sense and people who thinks with there brain but Nigerians will never understand this they only think within there local pollitics of bigotry and hatred they dont even know global Pollitics
For your information, if Nigeria elects a president today who prioritizes Nigerians over the interests of Western nations, rest assured that president won’t last four years. They would be overthrown or executed before their term ends because, to those powers, such a leader is a threat to their own national interests

The only time you see a Northern fighting with everything he’s got is when he is fighting another Northerner. When mediocrity is celebrated at the expense of excellence;when the acquisition of material wealth trumps decency & integrity it is no surprise that hope has taken flight

Who is killing Northerners? Who is running amok in the North causing havoc? Who is enabling the violent non-state actors? Who has failed the North? Who is failing the North? Who has failed the North? There comes a time when one must point a thumb instead of a finger.
