United Reform Church, Eccy road: a windowless concrete facade is an interesting way to present your faith. Behind this is a quite typical Victorian church hall. Interesting.
Berkley Precinct: is what it is. Why they've been allowed to cut down the trees, goodness only knows.
The PorterGate: built at a time where a sloping roof was presumably considered enough of a disguise for generic office space to exist on a road full of character. Mediocre.
M&S Eccy Road: Nice use of materials, scale ok, fits in without mimicking surroundings. Significant improvement on the car dealership it replaced.
Wards Brewery: Decent nod to the heritage of the site. When compared to the surroundings, remarkably good.
