The redevelopment of the Sheffield Castle site is really exciting, and also includes removing the Victorian culverting that has hidden the River Sheaf from view in this area for over hundred years! It will be great when finished š #Sheffield

Week 5 update from Wessex as they start to work on the moat in the gatehouse area. Great to hear from volunteers who have had a great time working on the industrial remains and part of the 12th century motte of the first castle.
