We are losing our Texas nursing workforce to states with Full Practice Authority for NPs. While Texas ranks last in access & affordability to healthcare #MoreAccessMoreOptions
In #Texas 75% of counties do not have enough healthcare providers. Yet bureaucratic red tape encourages #NPs to open up practices in states like #NewMexico. I am one of many NPs who choose #NM.@AANP_NEWS @TNPAustin #TxLedge

New @MarchofDimes report shows Texas has some of the highest amounts of #maternity care deserts in U.S. & access has gotten worse since 2020. This is unacceptable. Texas needs to invest in maternity care & remove barriers to women's health care providers. npr.org/2022/10/12/112833556…
