Let’s end the virtue signalling chaos, and start building a prosperous BC under strong sensible Conservative leadership.
The NDP’s decisions on DRIPA, their changes to the Interpretation Act, and the uncertainty from the Cowichan ruling are undermining the security of homes, farms, and businesses across our province. When fee simple title is cast into doubt, families lose confidence, investors walk away, and vital projects like pipelines to tidewater are stalled. This is the frustration our Alberta neighbours feel, and it weakens us all. I know these issues firsthand. I fought and won a landmark property rights case at the Supreme Court of Canada on the Musqueam leasehold dispute, defending ordinary homeowners against overreach. Secure property rights are essential to freedom, family stability, and a thriving economy. The NDP cannot credibly lecture Alberta about unity while his policies create the very roadblocks fuelling Western concerns. British Columbians expect better. While the NDP pushes policies that sow division, our Conservative vision will strengthen the West and deliver a far more prosperous British Columbia for every family. This is about good-paying jobs, safer communities, and a province where families can afford to stay and build their futures. Having served in Stephen Harper’s cabinet, where we lowered taxes and returned to surplus, I know how to deliver these results. The NDP’s ideological experiments have gone on long enough. I invite every British Columbian who believes in freedom and prosperity to join the BC Conservative movement today. Become a member and help us build the team that will rescue our province. Join me. Together we will defeat the NDP

It’s time to put hammers in hands and shovels in the ground. To be prosperous, there must be certainly, stability and action. Let’s end the chaos.
British Columbians, the numbers tell a clear story. Building permits across our province dropped 39.6 percent in a single month. This is the direct result of NDP policies that have created uncertainty, layered on excessive regulation, and stalled development at every turn. I have seen what focused conservative leadership can deliver. Serving as Minister of National Revenue in Stephen Harper’s government, I was part of a team that lowered taxes, cut red tape, and guided Canada back to balance and surplus after the global recession. We proved that responsible fiscal management and pro-growth policies work. My experience fighting and winning a major property rights case at the Supreme Court of Canada, taught me that secure ownership and clear rules are essential for investment and confidence. Without them, projects stall and families pay the price. A BC Conservative government will restore certainty. We will implement a genuine one-stop permitting process with firm timelines, defend the property rights of all British Columbians, lower taxes on families and businesses, and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to unlock the potential of our resource sectors and build the homes and infrastructure we need. British Columbia has the resources, the people, and the spirit to lead once again. Together, we will bring hope, prosperity, and results back to every corner of our province. Join me.

Parks are for all British Columbians to enjoy. These areas are for all to enjoy and should not be used as ideological bargaining chips.
This is exactly the kind of divisive nonsense coming from the NDP that is tearing British Columbia apart. Public parks like Joffre Lakes belong to all British Columbians. Not one group to shut down whenever they feel like it. The Líl̓wat Nation can harvest their plants and exercise their rights anytime they want. They do not need the entire park closed for weeks to do it. This so called reconnection shutdown is a completely manufactured problem. The province offering 31 days is still far too much. These full closures punish families, tourists and working people who count on these parks. Overuse and garbage? Fix it properly. Garbage cleanup should be a public initiative done in real partnership with First Nations. Get volunteers, locals and Nation members working side by side to clean the trails and lakes. That is actual stewardship. But have they even asked the public for help? Of course not. This is all about control. Let me be clear. Shutting down Highway 99 is illegal. Blocking a provincial highway is lawlessness, plain and simple. The fact is the NDP are choosing not to enforce the law. They are weak. They are terrified of being called out and they are selling out public access to pander. This is what DRIPA and unlimited accommodation gets you. Two tier access where regular British Columbians pay the taxes but get pushed out of their own backyard. Enough is enough. Public land must be managed for the public interest. For everyone. Reasonable cultural access yes. Blanket shutdowns and veto power no.

We can now move forward together in building a BC that will be prosperous for everyone. #bcpoli
As the newly elected Leader of the British Columbia Conservative Party, I am deeply honoured and inspired by the momentum we have built together. My win marks the consolidation of a new coalition in British Columbia, one rooted in common sense, shared values, and a determination to put our province back on the path to prosperity. British Columbians from every corner of our beautiful province have come together because they believe, as I do, that we can do better. We must do better. I have spent my career fighting for the principles that make our province strong: secure property rights, safer communities, lower taxes, and economic opportunity for every family. As a former Cabinet Minister in Stephen Harper’s government, Chief Opposition Whip, and King’s Counsel who successfully defended property rights at the Supreme Court of Canada, I know what responsible, results-focused leadership looks like. I have governed before, and I am ready to govern again. To every Conservative, to every British Columbian who has felt unheard, and to those joining us for the first time: this is our moment. We will restore accountability, and defeat the NDP’s failed policies that have driven up debt, weakened public safety, and undermined our way of life. Together, we will build a province where families can afford to thrive, businesses can grow, our resource industries are respected, and government serves the people rather than controls them. British Columbia’s best days are ahead. With hope, hard work, and a clear conservative vision, we will deliver the change our province needs. Join me.

KLF and the Conservatives represent common sense and a return to stability. There’s nothing extreme about making BC a better place and repairing the damage of ten years of NDP ideological destruction.
The NDP calls us extreme? Let's be clear about who is truly extreme. David Eby and the NDP have pushed a radical ideological agenda that is failing British Columbians. Their soft-on-crime approach has led to out-of-control extortion and violence in our communities. Their failed safe supply experiment has worsened the addiction crisis rather than solving it. And in critical court cases, they refused to properly defend fee simple property rights, abandoning homeowners, farmers, and investors. This is not compassionate governance. It is extreme overreach that puts ideology ahead of people and results. We offer a better path: safer communities, secure property rights, lower taxes, and economic prosperity for every family. I am committed to uniting our party and province to defeat the NDP and restore hope to British Columbia. Join me. Let's build a brighter future together.

I am deeply honoured by the endorsement of my friend and colleague, Federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre. British Columbia needs strong, principled leadership. For too long, the NDP has presided over the decay of our province: failing public services, crushing debt and deficits, out-of-control crime, and the erosion of property rights that threaten our families and freedoms. That era ends now. Together, we will restore safer communities, lower taxes, protect property rights, and deliver the prosperity our province deserves. Our best days in British Columbia lie ahead. Join me.

British Columbians are done with the ideological virtue signalling that is destroying our economy. Let’s get BC out of recession and back to work.
The latest polling shows we are leading because British Columbians have had enough of the radical direction this NDP government has taken. We are moving forward with purpose. We are leading, and we will win. Together we will defeat the NDP’s failed approach and deliver the real results our families and communities deserve. I am grateful for your support and ready to keep earning it as we build a stronger, more prosperous British Columbia.

Placer miners in particular have had enough. It’s time to get shovels and sluice boxes moving.
With the stroke of a pen, the NDP closes crown land to mineral exploration and more. ELUA’s are draconian. The NDP must immediately tell the public what is transpiring in the northwest of B.C. #bcpoli 👇

Placer miners in particular have had enough. Without this work, new opportunities remain undiscovered. Conservatives will get shovels in the ground and return this province to prosperity for all British Columbians.

Kerry-Lynne Findlay is on the job, and hitting the ground running. That’s the energy, commitment and effort that will beat the NDP and build prosperity for all British Columbians.
I am grateful to Peter Milobar and to every MLA who met with me one on one this week. These conversations have been productive as we prepare for the responsibilities ahead. Our team is focused and moving forward with purpose. We will defeat the NDP government, end the decay it has brought to our healthcare, our economy, and our communities, and deliver the results British Columbians deserve. We have important work to do, and I am optimistic about what we can achieve together for our province.

This abuse of our police veterans and the others who were manipulated was unacceptable.
The Legion supports the NPF’s request for an inquiry into this incident. The RCMP serves our country and must be treated with the respect it deserves.

MLA McCall’s speech was going to be one for the books - until he was cut off by the NDP’s closure.
The BC Conservatives debated the NDP’s bill to gut freedom of information (Bill 9) and make it harder for British Columbians to access information about their government.

We kept going all night until 3 AM, when the NDP “forced closure” to end the debate at 3 AM and force the vote, we were just getting started and had hours more to say.

The NDP shut down the debate.

A party that wants to hide information from the public shouldn’t surprise anyone when they also silence any opposition.

Freedom of information and open debate are the cornerstone of democracy. The NDP is attacking both.

Best team building exercise ever.
Basically, the NDP thought they'd trick the Conservatives by giving them all night to debate FOI bill, expecting Conservatives would eventually give up. Instead, Conservatives dug in and it was the NDP who gave up, invoking closure at 4am.

The NDP hasn’t represented working people for many years.
I hope NDP MLAs are proud tonight as they dismantle their own party’s FOI legacy. Here’s Mike Hartcourt in 1991: “We will bring in a freedom-of-information law, not an access-to-information law. I think that shows the difference between the New Democratic Party and the Social Credit government. They talk about access, and it’s almost a grudging word: we may give ‘access’ to citizens. We believe in freedom of information. It’s your information, the citizens’ information. It’s not our information.” Carole James in 2008: “We’ve seen freedom-of-information laws ignored and disdained by this Premier. We see new bureaucracies created with no oversight, little public accountability.” John Horgan in 2015: “I think all British Columbians should be concerned when their government hides things from them.” “The whole point of having access to information is so we can all make reasonable judgments about the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of our political leadership.” David Eby in 2026: ~shuts down debate to kill FOI at 3:41AM~
