i can see what are they refering to. They want a returning character but with certain plot relevance for example blade, silverwolf, tingyun, sparkle
zzz could do this with seed for example, where SHE is relevant to a few episodes of the season because she was in helios academy

zzz needs a recurring cast. i love all the characters, but it’s hard to feel attached when they vanish after a single patch. mihoyo has already proven with hsr that adding new characters doesn’t have to mean losing the old ones.

they could do something wild like writing characters or areas connected to old characters, for example they could make a part of season 4 about lucy's family and because of it she and the sons of calydon can become part of the story
