He is talking about helping people, including women and girls who are very vulnerable, but has not put the means in place to actually do it, which has been disastrous for people who supported Canada's troops and diplomatic efforts in Afghanistan.

Despite his promises, it's becoming increasingly clear that Trudeau does not have a credible plan to bring in 20,000 #Afghans. In fact, only those Afghans outside Afghanistan have a clear path to Canada. There needs to be a path for those fleeing violence and persecution.

Trudeau says Canada may stay after Aug 31 deadline, but it's very unclear how Canadian troops could manage the Kabul airport when Canadians outside the airport right now can't find a soldier on the ground to help them.
