For those who missed it, Trump just said the services for students with disabilities will continue despite the @usedgov being closed. Education being given back to the states is a good thing. It has failed miserably for many years now.

Only because I’ve been seeing this too much lately here, but can we PLEASE not use the words “retard” or “retarded” when referring to people? There are many of us that have advocated for years to eliminate that word. We’re smart enough to think of other words. Do better. Thanks! /rant. For all those that are concerned about returning educational power back to the states instead of leaving it with the @usdoegov (including me), all you have to look at is the recent @NAEP_NCES scores and see that whatever has been going on is not working. Concerned especially for our students with disabilities and their outcomes. However you feel, something has to change. Hoping @Linda_McMahon gets approved quickly to see what she can do about all this.

JUST IN: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned the use of Red Dye No. 3, which is used in thousands of food products and is made from petroleum. Red Dye No. 3 has been linked to cancer in animals. The dye give beverages and foods a bright red cherry color. “The dye is still used in thousands of foods, including candy, cereals, cherries in fruit cocktails and strawberry-flavored milkshakes,” NBC reported. Food manufacturers have until January 15, 2027 to fix their products. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been a strong advocate for removing dyes from food products, specifically Yellow Dye No. 5 and Red Dye No. 40.
