He brings a reputation for being a physical and reliable defensive anchor, having established himself as a leader during his time with numerous Isthmian League and Southern Counties East Football League (SCEFL) clubs. ​Throughout his extensive career, Gray has become a go-to choice for managers seeking veteran stability and leadership. His resume includes four separate spells at Hythe Town, where he was most recently tasked with anchoring a young squad, as well as significant stints at Whitstable Town. His reputation for a high work ethic and structural defensive impact has also seen him feature for several other notable sides, including Ramsgate FC, Sittingbourne, Faversham Town, Sevenoaks Town, Lordswood, and Snodland Town. ​Manager Ian Batten commented: ​"Ollie stands out for his excellent communication and aerial dominance. 𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗞 ​Sheppey United is pleased to announce that 19-year-old midfielder Ben Clark has agreed to terms to remain with the club for the upcoming season. ​A product of the Gillingham F.C. youth academy, Clark signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2025. Before finding his home at the "Ites," he gained valuable experience through a loan spell at Deal Town and an initial one-month stint at Sheppey United in October 2025. ​His immediate impact led to a permanent transfer in January 2026. Following an extended trial period at Colchester United, Clark returned to Sheppey United to help the club secure its fifth consecutive season in the Isthmian League. His contribution proved vital, as he netted the club’s final goal of the season during the away draw against AFC Croydon Athletic. As he prepares for the new campaign, Clark will take on the number 8 shirt. ​The club is now offering player sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season. A well-known figure in Kent non-league football, Steve possesses extensive tactical knowledge and a demonstrated ability to build grassroots frameworks and viable player pathways. Steve joins the club following a successful period at VCD Athletic, where he played a key role in their promotion to step 4 via the 2024/2025 play-offs. His coaching credentials include a spell at Welling Town FC in 2023 and managing the first team at Crockenhill FC in the Kent County Premier League. Additionally, his long-standing work at Danson Sports FC—a club celebrated for its community youth setup—highlights his dedication to creating structured transitions from youth to senior levels. Steve is currently finalising his UEFA B license accreditation.

The 25-year-old, known for his exceptional ability to operate across the entire defensive line, spent the last year away from competitive football to focus on the growth of his personal business ventures. Diallo is a formidable asset on the pitch, possessing the rare technical skill of being equally comfortable with both feet combined with an explosive, accelerating pace that allows him to recover quickly and contribute to offensive transitions. Recognising his talent and the impact he previously made, Sheppey United acted decisively to secure his services as soon as the opportunity for his return to the game arose. Diallo originally arrived in the UK from Portugal and established his reputation during successful spells with Ashford United throughout the 2020–21 and 2022–23 campaigns, where he was primarily utilised as a dynamic force on the left-hand side of the field. Following his initial arrival at Sheppey United toward the conclusion of the club's first season at Step 4, "Mams" became a mainstay in the squad for two further consecutive seasons. His contributions were pivotal for the club, including their memorable run to the FA Cup 1st Round Proper. Welcoming the return of a fan-favorite, manager George Batten expressed his enthusiasm, stating: "This is another significant signing for our squad. Mams is an incredibly reliable player who has never let this club down.
