Fascinating graph! The composition of wine consumption in the USA. In 1960, more than 75% was dessert or fortified wine; today, that figure is just over 2%. The figure doesn't show the total consumption, but I looked it up: 163M gallon in 1960 and 899M in 2023 #sherry
