Shop Tour Saturday: This is our antique Janvier Reduction Machine, a pantograph lathe which was once used for reducing oversized master sculpts made of plaster to be scaled down into a die. These replaced specialist engravers who cut designs into metal dies by hand (like Woody!)

Shop Tour Saturday: This is one of our blanking presses, used to punch out circular or irregularly shaped coin blanks (or planchet if it has a raised rim) out of flattened metal sheets. We often end up making our own tooling since many of the items we use aren't made commercially

We love it when visitors come into the gift shop and tell us they saw the big green door and just HAD to stop to see what was inside. The large crafted brass disc was the final touch that Woody made to serve as a handle.

Shire Fest is hopping! 11-5pm today! Our first fairy house is home in our garden. Stop by the West Fork Library tent to help us build the fairy city. You can get stamps for your quest log from various vendors and activities all around the Fest.
