We’ve had a great first day at Beamish - we started off our day with an evacuation workshop up at the farm where we learned all about what life would be during WW2 on the farm during this time.
Today is World Ocean Day. We have been discussing how to keep the oceans clean and how to look after our environment. We have created our own coral reefs with play dough.
Miss King gave us a very tricky challenge to create art using a push pin. We were very sensible and very impressed with the image we created out of holes.
A busy afternoon in Year 6! We’ve also had Sky from the Connect Mental Health Team visiting us for the first of four sessions to support us in our transitions to our new schools.
