An ultra Orthodox man doing his job as a building inspector was working in Slough when he was physically attacked by a total stranger screaming ‘baby killer’ and ‘dirty mother f*cking Jew’ at him.
A friend of his has sent me this video telling me the man is now ‘afraid to leave his area, he is terrified for his life.’
As the most visibly obvious Jews, the community has extra security where they live but are increasingly frightened to leave their neighbourhood.
‘It is devastating that Jewish people can’t go anywhere without a high risk of being attacked,’ I was told.
🚔 @ThamesVP are investigating and seeking witnesses to the attack on Monday afternoon in Slough.

I was Born and raised in the Netherlands, went this very school that was attacked. I still have many relatives there, that are in this school daily. Unfortunately security has been very much needed.

A bomb just hit a Jewish school in Amsterdam.
A few years ago the Netherlands had a good relationship with Jews.
Then they imported lots of people who hate the west, Israel and Jews.
Israeli visitors became unsafe.
And then their Jewish schools started exploding.

A synagogue brutally attacked yesterday, a Jewish school today. We commend our Dutch allies for their efforts to find and punish these cowards. School should be a place of learning and peace, never of fear. Antisemitic violence should outrage everyone.

The liberation of Auschwitz on January 27, 1945, did not bring immediate peace or safety. My great grandmother Gelle Abrahamson - Duits (1907–1945) was one of the thousands of critically ill left behind.

The large plaque confirms its purpose: “Mass grave for about 700 prisoners… murdered during the final days of the camp’s existence. 1945.”
We have not been able to confirm with records, but it is most likely that Gelle Abrahamson is buried here.
