The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion
A right is only as good as the ability to exercise it! @JustinTrudeau & the #LPC government claim to be feminist, however they continue to underfund reproductive health services & turn a blind eye to provinces limiting access to that right. #AbortionRightsAreHumanRights#RoeVWade
This is not true in New Brunswick - 90% of New Brunswickers do not have adequate access to abortion services. NB's gov has restricted abortion services to three hospitals in two cities - CCLA is currently in court to restore access to abortion services to all New Brunswickers.
The news coming out of the United States is horrific. My heart goes out to the millions of American women who are now set to lose their legal right to an abortion. I can’t imagine the fear and anger you are feeling right now.
