Shorecrest will remain closed through Tuesday, October 15. Our hope is to be able to open on Wednesday, October 16. Families may expect an update by Monday, October 14 at 4pm regarding the reopening of school.

. @DukeEnergy crews are working hard but many of these projects are not quick fixes.
Near Shorecrest Prepatory School, we have at least 16 poles destroyed with major infrastructure damage. The work has started but it could take a couple of days @StPeteFL @PinellasGov

Shorecrest will be closed Monday - Friday, October 7-11 due to Tropical Storm Milton. Please note, this closure will affect our general calendar as we seek to reclaim in-person school days later this school year. Please take care as we anticipate another storm in our area.

We are now closely monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Milton. The school administration meets as new weather information becomes available and we will communicate any changes in the school schedule accordingly.

Shorecrest will reopen on a regular schedule on Monday, September 30 as we work to support our faculty, staff and families in their Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. Please check your email or visit shorecrest.org for additional details.

Hurricane Helene has significantly affected many in our community; our thoughts are with you. The Shorecrest campus is currently without water and sewage. Officials expect up to 48 hours to return service. Expect an update by 2pm Sunday about opening for Monday.
