search funders who can't wait for the joy of small business ownership: sometimes it's great. sometimes a service truck catches on fire and you put it out with storm drain water using a gatorade bottle you found in the truck your driver hasn't cleaned in a week.

Buyers sometimes take a principled stand on adjustments and ignore all of ours Their explanation of this view is often delivered with historical transaction details and a “market” valuation based on those multiples Do your own research, certainly, but the truth is most buyers will take a more pragmatic approach to earnings and realize that some adjustments really do deserve to be adjusted When a deal is competitive, you have to know where other buyers are going to come in
Can someone explain adjusted ebitda to me like an idiot? Its confusing a company can "adjust" things.

I've been sleeping on Perplexity Computer I needed a tool to update CRM records: filter to records with specific criteria > go to company's site > update CRM record It basically oneshotted it using the built-in Hubspot connector without me having to help troubleshoot a single component of the API Chron job already set up and it's all happening in the web app, nothing deployed on my end

We've paid $273,115 in referral fees to people who've sent us opportunities over the last 12 months This is one (the only?) expense that's fun to pay! Know a contractor, commercial/industrial service biz, or manufacturer who needs an M&A firm? Send them my way!

Every accident report gives me pause, but this 421 went down a few miles from my house with 5 onboard last night. Lots of speculation here, but it sure looks like a plane flying with no autopilot (heading and altitude bouncing around on this flight and previous ones), late at night, with a relatively new owner, in the clouds, surrounded by rain with embedded storms. I’ve been in the air wishing I was on the ground, and fortunately learned my lessons the easy way. Bad spot to be in

Day 6 at Royal North Devon in Westward Ho!, England Founded in 1864 and looks every bit of it. You could spend an hour wandering around the clubhouse, which is basically a museum. I loved every second of this course. Old, “flat” but mounds everywhere, people walking, sheep, horses, dogs, 380 (!!!) yard drive with the wind and 220 into it. Proper links. My caddy was the club president. Of course, I have no cash to pay him, so he has me put some money towards his club bar tab. Lost my individual match by 1 to an objectively better golfer with a bad swing on 17. Had a chance to halve it on 18 and missed, but I’ll take it.

Days 4 and 5 and I might give up golf forever after Saunton Golf Club West was tighter and “easier” (it was not) East was longer approaches and “wide open” (also was not) Wind to 35mph day 1 and 45 day 2! Proper links! (Brit friend telling me “light breeze” in the vid)
Day 3 in Cornwall at St Enodoc Golf Club Hard to put into words. Absolutely wild ups, downs, and bumps on every hole and no pics do it justice. Not a single flat lie. Several spots where you can see 6 groups at once Would recommend, but I was ready to see the clubhouse on 18!

Day 1 of my 12-man golf trip started in Cornwall at Perranporth Golf Club Incredible course! Would have been absolutely impossible without caddies as just about every tee shot is blind. 63*, sunny, no wind The good guys took the day with 4pts vs 2
