Movie 46 - Bhoot Bangla For the first time, sadly, it feels like Kartik Aaryan understands the Akshay Kumar template better than present-day Akshay Kumar does. The film borrows so much from Bhool Bhulaiyaa's surface that it forgets what gave it a soul.

Movie 45 - Main Vaapas Aaunga Partition has always felt familiar, despite never having lived it. This one moved me, especially in the second half. Naseer Sir, Sanjay Suri, Rajat Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh carry its grief beautifully. I just wish the younger portions hit as hard.

Movie 44 - Tuner Tuner is what happens when you mix sugar, spice, and everything nice but forget the Chemical X. The script works. The story should work. The sound design upto some extent, works. But the editing doesn't. The screenplay lacks direction. Could have been great!

Movie 43 - The Amazing Spider-Man Have been a fan of Andrew’s Spiderman for the longest time. Thought nothing could top that. Until I watched TASM1 in Punjabi. This completely unhinged dub elevated his emotional support stray cat energy and made everything even more brilliant.

Made me laugh. Made me emotional. Made me question cinema as a concept. 😭 And I'm not even kidding, made me question my choices as well. But net net, worth it.

Movie 42 - Kartavya (2026) My favourite genre of movies is when the cast collectively realizes one actor is so catastrophically bad that everyone else also starts sleepwalking through the film just to collect their paycheck. Kartavya proudly joins that hall of fame.

As i wrap up the season finale of #TheBoys , I'd like to invite them to the elite club of shows with disappointing final seasons. Hey there, The Boys, meet How I Met Your Mother, Community, Stranger Things, 70s Show. These are your bunkmates now

Movie 41 - Toaster They say a great actor can save a weak script. Maybe. But TIL, a great director 💀 can gather an incredible cast together… and still make everyone look unemployed. You might say a few characters in this movie weren’t needed. I’d argue the movie itself wasn’t

Movie 40 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) Rough around the edges, cheesy as hell, and somehow fun. The grimy New York vibe works, the brothers actually feel like brothers, and those turtle suits absolutely rule. Slightly cursed? Maybe. Endlessly charming? Definitely.

Turns out the large giant rubber suits turtles were more adorable than whatever animated fuckfest we got in 2007.

Movie 39 - TNMT (2007) This outing is weirdly a cowabunga movie with almost no actual COWABUNGA energy. Cool atmosphere, great rooftop aesthetics despite the weird animation style, solid Leo-Raph tension, but the script feels too clean, too cliched, too easy.

What if Mr. Darcy decided to make another version of Honey I Shrunk the kids? The Miniature Wife is exactly that.

Movie 39 - The Sky is Pink It might not be perfect, but I don’t know, it definitely feels personal. The Sky is Pink felt like a glimpse into a time I don’t remember but somehow carry. Some moments hit too close. The end credits, the song, the slides, beautiful and tragic. 🤌🏽

Movie 38 - Assi #Assi works more often than it lands. Raw, uncomfortable, and in-your-face, it pulls you into a reality that’s difficult to sit with. It refuses comfort, reminding you this isn’t one story but a pattern. Some choices, well-intended, but disrupted the story for me

Wow. What an ass.

Funny watching people get worked up over #RaghavChadha joining BJP, the very party he once criticized. Did we collectively forget how AAP formed its first government in Delhi? By teaming up with Congress, the same party they campaigned against. Convenience over loyalty!!
