On Friday, Feb. 25, all Denton ISD campuses will operate on a 2-hour delay. Buses will run their normal routes but will make their stops 2 hours after their regular time. The school day will end at the regular time. Go to dentonisd.org for more information.

Our Fall Picture Makeup Day on Tuesday, October 26 for students and staff who missed the September 15th pictures. Please let your student’s teacher know they will need their picture taken.
October 25th - 29th, we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week at Shultz Elementary! Each year, we set aside this week in October to focus on teaching our children about the importance of remaining drug-free and making safe and healthy choices as they grow older. Please join us!!

Our Nette Shultz Elementary community is invited to join us in helping keep our watershed clean! Stream Clean, Denton's annual waterways cleanup, is taking place Saturday, October 16th beginning at 8:00 am at Denton Civic Center / Quakertown Park.
WE LOVE OUR CUSTODIANS! Friday was National Custodian Appreciation Day, and our children had the opportunity to thank our custodians for their hard work keeping our school clean. Thank you Lenore, Maria, Sandra, Alma, Rebecca, and Natalie!

Our staff feels so appreciated today because of the kindness and hospitality of our PTA and two amazing Mustangs! Thank you, Mrs. Garrett and Mrs. Yancey, for giving your time to make the first day of October so special.

This Monday, August 30th, we are celebrating Student Independence Day at Nette Shultz! All children, staff, and families are invited to wear red, white, and blue as we support our students walking into our building and to their classrooms by themselves.
