I’m thoroughly proud to have graduated as a Chartered Teacher #cteach at an inspiring celebration with the #charteredcol yesterday. There were wonderful speeches which reminded us of the courage and care shown by members of our profession, as well as our unique range of skills.

Arrived Palma at 9 for 11.50 flight to East Mids. Screens showed ‘delayed’ but no further info, went to correct gate by 11. Screens still showed ‘delayed’, but @ryanair app told us our flight was cancelled. We joined queue for Ryanair desk at 14.45 for alternative way home. 2/n

My sons’ school was closed today due to a flood, so we’ve been learning at home. I was very excited when I saw there was a science practical on the list of tasks from their teachers! We had a results table, predictions and everything!
“Breaking down teacher performance into granular aspects isn’t over-complicating. It’s shining a light on the complex moving parts that make good teaching.” tinyurl.com/y3jec9tv Nicely put, and also explains why I’m thoroughly enjoying CTeach from @CharteredColl #CTeach

Well put!
If @dylanwiliam is correct in his assertion that cognitive load theory is the single most important thing for teachers to know, then @ollie_lovell’s book might just be the single most important thing to read. @teacherhead @olicav @JohnCattEd #edutwitter

Twitter is full of so many valuable ideas from amazing educators. I take my favourites and write them down in a book. Whenever I need lesson or T&L inspiration, I know where to look! ☺️ #geographyteacher #edutwitter
Had a lovely training session and discussion with @spencer_hub RQTs yesterday about student motivation and engagement. This graphic is great and made me think of you!
Another Dylan Wiliam quote I must remember and use!
