Konaté’s contract situation is very different from Trent’s. This is not a matter of loyalty, but a reflection of a player who understands his value.
If reports of a £200,000 per week request are accurate, he is within his rights to ask, just as Liverpool are within theirs to negotiate.
If Konaté ultimately seeks a new challenge, so be it. He has been a world-class asset for Liverpool and is a Premier League champion. 🇫🇷

As good as Joao Pedro is on the ball, he is not a striker. He wasn't among the top 10 in shots taken last season or in XG.
Joao Pedro is good as an attacking midfielder.
At least Jackson was stretching defences with his runs and off the ball workrate.
Stupidity to let him go.

The striker and GK position are the two most important positions which can decide games. These are the two positions where there must be world class players in their prime winning games.

Joao Pedro is an attacking midfielder, not a striker. Chelsea don't have a striker, Chelsea don't have a Goalkeeper despite spending more than 1 billion.
