theres nothing wrong with being influenced by other works, but referring to your project as "X meets Y with the charm of Z" is always a bad look
The actual Kickstarter is worse. It takes a SPECTACULAR level of brain damage to harp on Gameoverse for referencing games when your teaser is a badly executed Screwy Squirrel reference, and your Kickstarter description is just comparing your work to people more talented than you:
