A short word on change – excerpt from Drew Saylor. Today, while driving, I spotted an old truck I once owned. A flood of memories hit me in that instant—recollections of that period of my life, the things I did in that truck, and the places it took me.
But that part of my story has ended. That truck isn’t mine anymore. I’ve moved forward from that phase, and that is no longer who I am.
My family and I moved earlier this week. We sold our old house.
We don’t belong there anymore.
It would be trespassing to go back there.
God is starting a new chapter for us. Let’s not be afraid of moving on from the past.
