HON. SIMISOLA FAJEMIROKUN-AJAYI DEMANDS PROTECTION OF APC PRIMARY RESULTS Hon. Simisola Fajemirokun-Ajayi has called on the APC leadership, security agencies, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to protect the integrity of the APC primary process across Ile-Oluji, Oke-Igbo, and Odigbo Federal Constituency. She also sincerely appreciates every supporter and party member who came out peacefully to exercise their democratic right and stood firm despite intimidation, pressure, and attempts to suppress the will of the people. Verified polling unit reports collated by agents across the constituency show overwhelming grassroots support for Hon. Simi, particularly in Odigbo LGA; the largest voting bloc in the constituency. Current verified figures show: • Simisola Fajemirokun-Ajayi: 4,247 votes • Matthew Oye Oyerinmade: 1,790 votes • Festus Adefiranye: 788 votes Hon. Simi secured decisive victories across most Odigbo wards, including Agbabu, Ago-Alaye, Ajue, Araromi Obu, Ebijaw, Koseru, Odigbo, Ore I, and Ore II. However, despite the clear outcome reflected in polling unit reports, disturbing incidents of intimidation, disruption, and irregularities have been reported in parts of the constituency, including disruption of voting lines, absence of electoral officials, and attempts to compromise the results. Particularly troubling is the alleged conduct of certain aides and associates linked to the Ondo State Government, whose actions represent a serious blemish on the image of the APC and risk damaging the credibility of future party elections if unchecked. Democracy cannot survive where intimidation replaces fairness. Hon. Simi therefore calls on President Tinubu and the APC national leadership to protect ordinary party members, women, youths, and minority voices from political bullying and suppression. Women have a place in politics. Women have a place in leadership. And the voices of the people must not be silenced. Signed, Hon. Simisola Fajemirokun-Ajayi APC House of Representatives Aspirant Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo & Odigbo Federal Constituency #Simi4Reps #Omobowale27 #Ileoluji #Okeigbo #Odigbo

Can a society truly progress if success is celebrated without regard for character? At The Platform Nigeria, Brian Kagoro, challenged us to reflect on the values that shape our institutions, our politics, and our aspirations. His remarks went beyond economics and elections to examine a deeper question: what kind of society are we building? When wealth is admired without scrutiny, when influence is valued above integrity, and when status becomes the ultimate measure of success, we risk creating a culture that rewards outcomes while ignoring the means by which they are achieved. His intervention was a timely reminder that democracy is sustained not only by elections and institutions, but by ethics, accountability, and a collective commitment to doing what is right. Security is not the responsibility of government alone. It is a shared national project. Speaking at The Platform Nigeria, General Christopher Gwabin Musa OFR, highlighted a truth that is often overlooked: lasting security depends not only on military strength but also on the actions, choices, and cooperation of citizens. From national unity to community responsibility, his message underscored the importance of collective action in addressing the challenges facing our country. Security thrives where trust exists, where communities reject criminality, and where citizens see themselves as stakeholders in the future of their nation. These reflections challenge all of us to think beyond what government can do and consider the role each citizen must play in building a safer and more prosperous Nigeria. What does democracy mean beyond election day? At The Platform Nigeria, His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola, CON SAN, reminded us that democracy is not merely about casting ballots every four years. It is about freedom, accountability, participation, and the collective responsibility to build consensus around the future we want. His reflections on June 12 also served as an important reminder that democracy was not handed to Nigeria on a silver platter. It was earned through sacrifice, courage, and the determination of countless Nigerians who believed that the will of the people must prevail. Swipe through some of the key insights from his address. Powering homes. Powering businesses. Powering possibilities. The commissioning of the 10MVA Transformer Substation marks a significant milestone in the development journey of Ile-Oluji. Beyond the infrastructure itself, this project represents what can happen when individuals, communities, and institutions come together in pursuit of a common goal. For years, access to stable electricity has remained a critical challenge for households, entrepreneurs, schools, healthcare facilities, and local industries. Today, we celebrate a step forward toward unlocking greater economic activity, improving livelihoods, and creating new growth opportunities. Development is most meaningful when it improves everyday life. This is what progress looks like. Ọmọ́bọ̀wálé2027 #Simi4Reps #Omobowale27 #IleOluji

For too long, communities across Nigeria have learned to celebrate promises instead of infrastructure. But real leadership must be measured by what improves the daily lives of ordinary people. Power is not a luxury. Power is economic survival. Every improvement in electricity access, directly affects traders, welders, hairdressers, students, small businesses, and households trying to survive difficult economic realities. This is why infrastructure matters because stable power means longer business hours, increased productivity, safer communities, and dignity for working families. The commissioning of the 10MVA power injection transformer substation in Ile-Oluji Kingdom is a testament that we are making steady progress! The future of our people cannot be disconnected from economic planning, industrial growth, and modern infrastructure. Ọmọ́bọ̀wálé2027 #Simi4Reps #IleOluji

Some leaders inspire from a distance. Others shape your journey through direct mentorship, responsibility, and the opportunity to serve, and that is His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, CON. @tundefashola Over the years, I have had the opportunity to learn from his disciplined approach to governance, strategic thinking, and commitment to public service. Those lessons continue to influence how I think about leadership, institution-building, and delivering meaningful outcomes for people. The Platform remains a powerful reminder that Nigeria's future will be shaped by leaders who are willing to think deeply, serve diligently, and put the national interest above all else. Accountability goes far beyond budget lines and public spending. The real question is whether elected officials can be held responsible for the outcomes that affect the lives of ordinary citizens – @bukolasaraki As citizens, we must continue to ask difficult questions, demand transparency, and insist on measurable results. Strong democracies are built when public office holders know they are accountable to the people they serve. Ọmọ́bọ̀wálé 2027. #ThePlatformNG #DemocracyDay2026 #SFAatThePlatform2027

Security is too critical to be politicised; it demands patriotism! H.E. Abubakar Bukola Saraki @bukolasaraki challenges us to look past the titles and examine the foundational pillars of our system: the bigger conversation must be about strengthening institutions, upholding the rule of law, and improving the processes through which leaders emerge.
