Footage shows an Israeli occupation Apache helicopter firing a missile directly into a civilian residential area in the middle of Gaza City, in the latest blatant violation of the October 2025 ceasefire. The use of an attack helicopter to strike densely populated neighbourhoods, rather than the drones and warplanes that have carried out the majority of strikes during the so-called truce, marks a significant escalation in the Israeli occupation army's ongoing campaign against the city.
The attack adds to a mounting toll already recorded for June alone, with the spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defence in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, confirming that thirty-six Palestinians have been killed inside the Gaza Strip since the start of the month, among them three children and six women. Since the ceasefire took effect on 10 October 2025, the Israeli occupation army has killed more than 947 Palestinians and wounded over 2,935 in continuous violations targeting residential homes, displacement tents, markets, journalists, and Gaza police patrols.
