Thing is, it’s easy to sanctimoniously declare violence is wrong.
It’s not so easy to stand up and defend the rights of those who are migrants, immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers.
The latter is what unionist leaders are failing to do.

36-year-old Darren Medhurst, who was filmed by Young Bob setting a bin on fire and rolling it towards police officers, has been jailed for three years and three months.
Darren has 51 previous convictions for 96 offences, including burglary and shoplifting.

All the transition money on top of all the money from their monopoly on the drug market and with power and money they were left to coerce, control and groom young people for decades while communities crumbled round them.
Jamie, if as you say, the only way loyalist paramilitaries can influence young people in their community, is with coercive control & fear, you're essentially admitting they have failed to transition into a group of positive influence. So all that transition money was for what?
