1286 candles. One for each person that died in homelessness last year. A touching, thoughtful, dignified vigil coordinated by @our_MoH We stood in the snow opposite the shameless Downing St frat house to hear the names of those lost read aloud by those that care to hear 💔

Once again @CamdenCouncil is NOW forcibly 'removing' those experiencing homelessness under the pretence of building works outside their Pancras Square offices... some convenient new planters!

Yesterday, Stuart McKay was awarded the Peoples Honour for his contribution to society, not just for what he does for us but also for all that he does for other groups and individuals as well as here at The Simon Community.

@MPSCamden, @CamdenCouncil & @uclh ALL were equally complicit
There's much more we would like to say but all is now in the hands of our excellent legal support teams.
This must NEVER happen again ANYWHERE!
Camden Council says it did arrange a bin lorry to clear tents from outside a hospital building on Friday but admits it was 'wrong' and it's 'determined to make improvements to how rough sleepers are supported in the borough'.
