And so the day continues. After a packed morning and afternoon listening to and engaging with sessions discussing how to move forwards with digital solutions to support those who use our services, it’s time for the @TSAVoice Gala and awards. Everyone looks extremely smart.
Ready for two days at the @TSAVoice Tech conference at the ICC Birmingham. Looking forward to learning more about Tech solutions within the Adult Care arena and how I can take that learning back to @NewcastleCC Adult Social Care and Integrated Services directorate.

I don’t know why people feel they have the right to be offensive to others os it easy on SM? No matter who you are, how well grounded you are, it can and will affect you. I encourage us all to call out anyone who is abusive or offensive to others on SM, positivity will win out
Completely agree Tom, as someone who has supported these services nationally, I can honestly say the service, as it is now, which will take time to flourish, is amazing. There are so many passionate people trying to make a real difference, and they are. Influence positive change
Day 3 at the @ncasc22 conference where we meet our CMS providers @OLMSYSTEMS and discussed some of their future upgrades that might be beneficial to our delivery teams within @NewcastleCC. Thank you @1adass@LGAcomms@ADCStweets for facilitating the conference.
Day two at @ncasc22. The theme of this year is definitely Co-production and the importance of having lived experience embedded through everything social care. To be inspired is to then inspire others.

The amazing @JukesyJo presented to the @FAVORUK recovery conf this morning via video. What a fantastic way to set the scene and tone for today. It is through people like Jo telling us about her family tragedy and what needed to be different to change the course, give us hope.
Thank you Cllr Karen Kilgour @kags6811 for welcoming the @FAVORUK#RecoveryConf which is Veterans themed this year, to Newcastle. The day will set out the problem and then what is being done by some great organisations and people who strive to improve awareness & support
Agreed @drdanbarnard@JohnnyMercerUK you have done so much and shouted so loud for our veteran community. I don’t do politics and can see that you wore your heart on your sleeve and gave everything you could for many, thank you. Much needed time with your family now.
