The good news is: we are still growing and providing food for households across Bristol during #CoronavirusLockdownUK
It has been such a pleasure to reassure folks that they can rely on us. And we are super careful on site for our growers #frontlineworkers#farming
We want to send a big thank you to @BetterFoodCo
@PhilHaughton who have donated us a van. After 10 years of delivering our produce in the back of a car this is a fantastic upgrade. It is great to be part of such a supportive network of producers and retailers in Bristol.

All that heat has boosted our cucumbers, but their squash-y friends in the fields are thiiiiirrrrsty. We have safely organised our 'workshare' helpers on site to help with planting and watering to keep on top of it.
We won't be running our public volunteer days again until we feel really confident that we can keep everyone safe on site, but we are working out plans on how to that too 🙂 #staysafe#eatvegetables#BeKind
So excited to share the news that our online shop is finally open, selling everything from farm-reared meat and eggs, to reusable cups and beer! And every pound you spend generates income for the Farm, which is needed now more than ever. Please RT! wearebs3.co.uk/#/shop/windmi…

BTW: Last year we crowdfunded to start a trainee scheme, promising it wld be self-sustaining. It is! Thanks to the extra 👐 we have the £ this year to pay from ⬆️ earning.
HURRAY!

Sadly, due to #COVID19 it wouldn't be safe to have a trainee as they need support at <2m 😥
Instead we employed a PT extra grower (experienced = can work safely at distance). This keeps our output income up so next year we will still have £ to host a new trainee 🥳

This is a weird day to tell a longterm positive story but we thought we would share anyway. Our staff are safe, we managed to give someone a new job we can keep feeding #Bristol.
Whatever #stayalert means, we are still all in this together #smallbusiness#keepstaffsafe
