"You Can Do Magic" was written and produced by British songwriter Russ Ballard (ex-Argent, who also wrote hits for Rainbow, Ace Frehley and Frida). America (which was already only the duo Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell after the departure of Dan Peek) had been without a blockbuster track since 1976. Russ composed the track especially for them, played almost all the instruments (except the drums) and created that "do do" of the chorus thinking about the perfect vocal harmonies of the two.
It became the band's biggest hit of the 80s, #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and marked their comeback.

Fender Update: There is now a video out there of Fender CEO, Ed Cole, speaking to dealers at a meeting about the recent EU cease and desist fiasco. While Fender might be walking back on some of their demands from the original CaD's, this whole speech that Ed is putting on is still full of lies and hypocrisy.
Oh, and he unintentionally teases that companies in the Americas will be next. Please, stop buying from Fender. And if you do, buy used from Reverb, Marketplace, etc. Do NOT give them another dime until they get their crap together.

It's kinda weird seeing Adventure Time being TV-PG again, given that I'm now used to the humor of Fionna and Cake. But if this spinoff goes back to the original show's roots, count me in!

The prequel series follows Finn's early childhood on monster-fighting adventures with Jake.
Releasing June 29 on Hulu.
