FINALLY! The last piece of the puzzle for my studio has been the ceiling. It is slanted, and due to their size they are pretty much two full size walls. Never thought those would be finished for years. But huge thanks to @GIKAcoustics for helping me get the last acoustic treatment I needed and not to mention consultation on best choice of panels and placement. Wouldn’t have happened without them! Front wall of my studio is more or less complete. Since I do a lot of filming in here a lot of decisions was compromises between design and sound. I will probably fill the upper half with acoustic treatment at one point, but for now this is how it turned out. Building this studio has been fun, expensive af and very humbling. A true lesson in compromise and that vision doesn’t always translate to reality. This front wall looks nothing like what was planned, but unforeseen things like the size of the speakers and just general incompetence with design led to this. Still work to be done in here. Namely the ceiling which I straight up have nothing on since my funds ran out. Will have that fixed in the future and probably redesign the front wall. But will make a studio tour around end of May or start of June 🤘 #musicstudio #studio
