Adoption agencies must prioritize heterosexual couples with fertility issues, because those are the parents that will provide by far the safest and healthiest and most normal upbringing. The point of adoption is to provide children with parents. It is NOT to provide adults with children. Is this unfair to gay men? Yeah, absolutely. But if you are incapable of not living a life that makes it biologically impossible for you to reproduce, you should not get to be responsible for a baby.
