A new study in Nature Communications led by Neurosurgery resident, Mark Youngblood, MD, PhD, and Shashwat Tripathi, with senior author Amy Heimberger, MD, PhD, reveals a promising immunotherapy strategy for meningiomas.
The team found widespread activation of the STING pathway in meningioma tumors and showed that STING agonist 8803 may drive strong anti-tumor and immune responses.
