Lift-off for Infinity🚀 The Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi has given wings to our dreams: Inaugurating our brand new Infinity Campus and unveiling our flight-ready Vikram-1 orbital launch vehicle. This moment brings both inspiration and responsibility as we build a future of infinite possibilities.✨ #IndiatoInfinity

The first pictures from the spaceport of India’s first privately built orbital rocket. For those following closely: Vikram-1's Stage 2, Kalam-250, is now fully integrated inside SHAR, Sriharikota. Flex nozzle, actuators, and Interstages 1_2L & 1_2U mounted and assembled. Our first complete integration. Final assembly of remaining components and stages is underway—we're steadily progressing toward launch. #Vikram1 #SkyrootAerospace

A rocket's structure has to be strong enough to survive launch and light enough to reach orbit. This episode is about how the team turned to carbon composites and cork to meet both demands, and what it took to master the manufacturing from the ground up. #JourneyToOrbit #Vikram1

Vikram-1 had to be big enough to carry the fuel to reach orbit, and smart enough to shed that weight along the way. Nearly as tall as a 7-storey building, getting something that size to orbit demands precision engineering at every stage of the climb, as much as it demands raw power. This episode is about how the team broke out of that loop and the systems that make it possible. #JourneyToOrbit #Vikram1

Vikram-S proved that a private Indian company could build and launch a rocket to space. But suborbital and orbital are different problems entirely. Getting to orbit means building a rocket that can carry satellites and place them precisely around Earth, and that demands a level of engineering complexity that required the team to think anew about every system. #JourneyToOrbit #Vikram1

Skyroot Aerospace has raised $60 million at a valuation of $1.1 billion. Vikram-1, India's first privately developed orbital rocket, is weeks from its maiden flight. This capital will go toward scaling launch cadence for Vikram-1, expanding manufacturing, and developing Vikram-2 — a 1-tonne class vehicle with an advanced cryogenic upper stage. We started with a conviction: satellite operators worldwide deserve reliable, affordable, dedicated access to orbit. Vikram-S proved the technology in 2022. Vikram-1 takes it to orbit. Thank you to every investor, partner, and team member who has been part of building this. Vikram-1 is headed to the spaceport. 🚀 Today, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A. Revanth Reddy garu (@TelanganaCMO, @revanth_anumula) flagged off Vikram-1 from our Max-Q campus in Hyderabad, marking the completion of the pre-flight integrated test campaign. Grateful to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Hon'ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs of Telangana, Shri D. Sridhar Babu garu (@OffDSB), and all the esteemed dignitaries who joined us today. Thank you to IN-SPACe and ISRO for your continued support. #Hyd2Space #Vikram1 #SkyrootAerospace

Vikram-1's Integrated Electrical Test Campaign — Phase 3 of pre-launch testing — is complete. This campaign brought everything together — the vehicle, ground software, and electrical interfaces — running as one system for the first time. Every on-board system had to initialize correctly. Every sensor, actuator, and control element had to respond exactly as commanded. Every team had to work together exactly as they would on launch day. And it did. 🫡 Next stop: Sriharikota.🚀 #Vikram1 #SkyrootAerospace

Vikram-1's interstages do far more than connect stages. Packed into their carbon composite structures are flight computers, navigation sensors, power systems, stage-separation mechanisms, and retro motors timed to fire within milliseconds of stage separation events.

At the top of the vehicle sits the Orbital Adjustment Module (OAM), responsible for the final, most precise act of the mission: placing each satellite into its exact orbit. In flight, these structures will contend with intense vibrations across every direction. And these will be sustained waves at specific frequencies throughout the ascent. Structures that aren't engineered precisely can fail under these conditions. Our teams subjected them to the full range of vibrations the rocket may experience in flight. Twenty hertz to two thousand. Three different axes. Test after test. All structures cleared. Phase 3 checks are now underway: all systems, ground software, all electrical interfaces, full flight simulation tested together. #Vikram1 #SkyrootAerospace

The Avionics and Integration teams conducted Nozzle Actuator-in-Loop Simulation (AILS), a critical milestone before launch. The nozzle actuators (the mechanisms that help steer the rocket) and flight computer were run together in a simulated flight environment under conditions as close to flight as we can create on the ground. They worked in sync as designed and remained stable. 🚀 #Vikram1 #SkyrootAerospace

When Vikram-1 reaches space, the payload fairing needs to split apart and fall away cleanly, protecting the satellite on the way up, then getting out of the way when its job is done. The final pre-flight separation test on flight hardware confirms the pneumatic separation system is a stable, proven design. Next stop: Sriharikota. 🚀 #Vikram1 #SkyrootAerospace #SpaceTech

Might sound clichéd. But we just can't stop mooning over these visuals 😍
Earthset. The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.

On April 3rd, 1984, one Indian, #RakeshSharma, looked down at Earth from space. Today, India has landed on the Moon, reached Mars orbit, sent an astronaut (@gagan_shux) to the International Space Station, and established a thriving space industry. And this is just the beginning. At Skyroot, we're proud to be part of this journey.🚀 #FirstIndianCitizenInSpace #IndianAstronaut
