As an artist I’ve never felt more excited about releasing music than I have in the last few days - to finally have an instant outlet for any type of stuff I make and being able to talk to my listeners directly in such a streamlined way.. I’ve tried other stuff and wasn’t all the way sold
i am so excited about this bcuz is an artist is at the helm, @jamesblake. i inherently trust it more. artists have been rugged so many times by big tech that don't grok artist values
patreon seem like good ppl but it never felt right for music to me, more for content creators

My personal relationship with artists helped keep me here. If it was up to a&r , managers and label exec i woulda been a thing of the past a long time ago. Hope this helps someone.
