Love this hike, as much for the geology as the views 🤩

The first and last time I do fieldwork in 40 degree heat 🥵 but those outcrops 🤩 On fieldwork last month we looked at faults, fractures, salt and seds in the geoparadise that is Utah 🤠⚒️ and of course there was time for some geotourism 😇 too many highlights but heres a few:

Of course no trip to Utah is complete without a slog up the relay ramp to the famous Delicate Arch 🥰 almost had it to ourselves since not many others crazy enough to be out there in that mid afternoon heat 🤪
