Following a publication that went viral, Shota Umino made a statement explaining that the person with whom the photo was taken backstage is a sponsor of the event. Honestly, I don’t like Japanese fans having these positions and I disagree with making this kind of posts like the one Shooter had to answer. Pro Wrestlers are people after all and they are free to relate to whoever they see fit. That is also supporting and respecting the pro wrestler as a performer and person. Why would befriend people with whom you interact or work not be ok? That’s ridiculous.
