Fluid flow of a healing agent traveling through self-healing concrete can be visualized using CT. We scanned a porous vascular network embedded in concrete. You can clearly see the polyurethane flowing through the network and pores, and into the crack. #H2020 #smartincseu

We are pleased to share our latest paper prepared by Shan He from TU Delft. This paper documented how healing products precipitated around a crack and how bacteria close cracks in the vicinity of the healing agents. The paper is open access via sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
